‘Tron: Legacy’: Motion Comic Trailer

With the highly anticipated release of “Tron: Legacy” on Friday the question arises of how to pass on to a new generation the fan enthusiasm that made the original 1982 “Tron” movie a cult favorite.

Disney and its collaborator, Double Barrel Motion Labs, have come up with a solution:
adapting “Tron: Legacy” into a motion comic that will be sold through the iTunes app store.

A flick of the finger on the screen of an iPhone or iPad moves the comic panels from left to right, guiding the viewer through the stark lighting and harsh blacks that are synonymous with the “Tron” universe.
